  • Rebecca Hicks - I love this post! I, too, have seen how much daily prayer changes a person. I think it makes us more humble, by openly (and daily) admitting that we are not in control. I also love the idea of failing forward. I hate failing, but it’s something I need to use to grow and learn from my mistakes. Thanks for this post, girl! January 16, 2017 – 1:07 pmReplyCancel

  • Sarah Althouse - # 1 (pray daily) a million times! Giving God my day just sets it on the right path from the beginning. January 16, 2017 – 2:06 pmReplyCancel

  • Jennifer Dunham - These are such great reminders! I have also found that when I write down my goals it helps me to keep myself more accountable for them. I will have to check that book out. January 18, 2017 – 2:14 amReplyCancel

  • Cristina - I am not a religious person, so I believe more in meditation. Although prayer is some sort of meditation itself, I don’t like to ask God for things I can do/control myself, I would rather thank Him for what I already have.January 26, 2017 – 12:52 pmReplyCancel

  • Mary Barham - Pray daily!!! So important to me….. it is essential for my day to talk to God about it all… good and bad!January 26, 2017 – 12:53 pmReplyCancel

  • Jen - Your suggestion of writing things down to hold yourself accountable is a good one. I keep a daily to-do list but it never includes things like blog goals or products I plan to make. Maybe I need to start doing that!January 26, 2017 – 2:06 pmReplyCancel

This life can be so exhausting. Finding contentment may seem like something that will never happen. We are constantly hustling and going from adventure to adventure. If we are doing enough at home, at work, in our relationships, in our walk with God, or for ourselves then we feel unsatisfied and try to do better…

It may seem like essential oils are a new addition to living more naturally, but they have actually been around for a long time! They were even mentioned in the bible. My family has embraced this welcomed addition to our medicine cabinet, homemade cleaning products, bath and beauty products, and diffusers! Here are my favorite…

  • Jackie - I recently just heard that about Frankincense and it’s been in my Amazon cart for a few days now. Need to try for stretch marks!February 2, 2017 – 1:25 pmReplyCancel

    • heysimplyreeni@gmail.com - Hi! Yes there are so many amazing benefits that Frankincense has to offer ๐Ÿ™‚ I would encourage you to really look into the brand of oils you get, and when you find the kind then purchase them from their actual website/company. There has been a lot of scamming on Amazon being done by “putting in fillers” by other companies and then selling the oils. If you want to know which brand I use/recommend, and why you can check out this resource: http://bit.ly/srgetstarted. I wish you the best of luck! These oils have changed my life, and I hope they do the same for you ๐Ÿ™‚ If you have any questions let me know:) I am an open book!February 2, 2017 – 9:53 pmReplyCancel

I put a few drops of peppermint on a washcloth and just breathed it in, and it took away the nausea. I’m a believer!February 2, 2017 – 4:11 pmReplyCancel

  • Liz - I started bringing essential oils into my home about two years ago and am still surprised at the positive impact. I use peppermint daily and recently started using endoflex. My goal in this post is to help you change your mindset. ย Itโ€™s easy to say โ€œget rid of negative feelings,โ€ but a lot harder to do. ย That is why I have found that it is easier to focus on positive feelings to help drown out the noise. ย  1. Keep a Gratitude Journal Everyday…
