My Favorite 3 Essential Oils {I Use Everyday}

It may seem like essential oils are a new addition to living more naturally, but they have actually been around for a long time! They were even mentioned in the bible. My family has embraced this welcomed addition to our medicine cabinet, homemade cleaning products, bath and beauty products, and diffusers! Here are my favorite 3 essential oils I use everyday!

favorite 3 essential oils

1. Frankincense

I absolutely LOVE this oil! One of the reasons why I love it so much is that it is so versatile! I use it on my skin (a great addition to your beauty regime), internally, and diffusing it. Dr. Axe has compiled some great information on all the benefits this ONE oil has! I also use it in my face wash, and other lotions I create for my family to use.

*To all my fellow moms out there~ Do you have stretch marks from pregnancy still? Try using some of this oil along with Myrrh! It helps reduce the appearance of scars. Just one of the reasons it is one of my favorite essential oils.

2. Peppermint

While I was pregnant and nursing I wasn’t able to use this oil everyday. It was definitely a difficult time since it is such a part of my everyday life. When I wake up in the morning, I love putting peppermint on to help me get some energy for the day. I also use it for when I have headaches, upset stomach, and need a pick me up anytime in the day. It is great to use pre- workout as well to get the body moving!

3. Balance {Grounding Blend}

My life is chaotic right now, and I find myself reaching for this blend too often to count during the day. My mind is CONSTANTLY going at what feels like I speed of 1,000,000 miles per hour! Ok not that fast, but sometimes it is hard to focus and get stuff done. I love using this oil because it brings me back to reality, and to a space of being present in my day. I tend to catch myself worrying about the future too often (even though I know God is in control), and I use this blend to help me stay focused in the moment. My son is already 15 months old, and I want to be able to stay as present as I can when I am with him and this oil helps me do that!

Although these are my current 3 favorite oils, there are so many more that add great benefits to your life! If you would like any more information on any of these or some others I recommend everyone have in their “medicine” cabinet feel free to contact me at My passion is helping others thrive in their lives instead of just survive.

**Remember when using essential oils that they are highly concentrated and a little goes a long way. Please be careful if you are new to oils and start off slow. Always dilute your oils in a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, or olive oil.

Until Next Time,

    I recently just heard that about Frankincense and it’s been in my Amazon cart for a few days now. Need to try for stretch marks!ReplyCancel

      Hi! Yes there are so many amazing benefits that Frankincense has to offer 🙂 I would encourage you to really look into the brand of oils you get, and when you find the kind then purchase them from their actual website/company. There has been a lot of scamming on Amazon being done by “putting in fillers” by other companies and then selling the oils. If you want to know which brand I use/recommend, and why you can check out this resource: I wish you the best of luck! These oils have changed my life, and I hope they do the same for you 🙂 If you have any questions let me know:) I am an open book!ReplyCancel

    Peppermint saved me after a surgery. I was SO nauseated from the pain meds. I had some EOS with me in the hospital but couldn’t remember what to do. I put a few drops of peppermint on a washcloth and just breathed it in, and it took away the nausea. I’m a believer!ReplyCancel

    I started bringing essential oils into my home about two years ago and am still surprised at the positive impact. I use peppermint daily and recently started using endoflex. I haven’t tried Balance but it’s definitely something I need as a busy working mama.ReplyCancel
